As of July 2018, Google will be enforcing its new SSL requirements for the web. This means that any site without SSL security installed will be marked as "unsafe" by most users' browsers. We highly recommend that all clients purchase and install an SSL certificate on their site. In most instances, the BASIC SSL option listed below should be fine. WILDCARD SSL is intended for users who want to cover multiple subdomains (subdomain.yourdomain.com, etc.) without having to purchase multiple certificates.

Read the official announcement from Google Security:
https://security.googleblog.com/2018/02/a-secure-web-is-here-to-stay.html

BASIC SSL (PositiveSSL)    $74.99/yr. (installed)
STANDARD SSL (EssentialSSL)    $99.99/yr. (installed)
WILDCARD SSL (EssentialSSL Wildcard)   $149.99/yr. (installed)

We also offer installation only for any Domain Validation level certificate for $50. Organization Validation and Extended Validation certificates are also available but cost slightly more to install due to the increased validation requirements.

Free SSL is available through several companies, however, these free certificates expire every three months instead of every year so some extra programming has to be done to get them to renew automatically, thus the higher install cost.

FREE SSL: $250 SETUP. NO ANNUAL FEES. MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL BROWSERS.

UPDATE: As of July 2018, Nebula42 servers have incorporated full support for Let'sEncrypt Free SSL certificates. There is a one time fee of $99.99 with no additional charges and these certificates will auto-renew prior to their expiration dates.
